The Most Awkward Valentine’s Day Ever (SPOILERS)

“Valentine’s Day VI” was a crazy episode of “The Middle.”  Love was in the air, and this episode proved that love makes people crazy.

The Hecks are the most awkward family on television, and in “Valentine’s Day VI,” Brick won the award for most awkward kiss ever.  No one can top his extremely long kiss.  It was uncomfortable to watch.

Axl’s storyline ended really early.  There was a big build up over whether Devin Levin actually wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day or not.  Axl’s storyline ended on World Radio Day, the day before Valentine’s Day, which cut his storyline short with seventeen minutes still left in the half hour episode.  I was unsatisfied when “Valentine’s Day VI” ended.  I wanted more scenes about Axl and Devin Levin.

“Valentine’s Day VI” ended with a HUGE cliffhanger.  Darrin had just shown Sue the house he bought, and then he proposed to her.  My jaw dropped.  I can’t wait to hear what Mike has to say about this in the next episode.  Could this be the end of Sue and Darrin?
