Exploring the art of storytelling.

Closets, Closets, Closets, Closets? You’ll Love It! (SPOILERS)

Modern-Family-Season-6-Poster

“Closet?  You’ll Love It!” was a great episode of “Modern Family.”  All of the storylines were well-developed, interesting, and entertaining.

I’m super happy because it was revealed that Haley may have feelings for Andy and vice versa.  They finally might get together!

The writing in “Modern Family” is one of the best aspects of the show.  One great line was after Phil fell in the pool without his swim trunks.  Manny said, “And just like that, it disappears,” referring to the drone, and then Luke said, “In his defense, the water’s really cold.”  It was subtle and clever.  “Modern Family” is always filled with little dialogue gems like this.

Another great line was when Mitchell walked into his father’s house and saw Jay smiling with wide eyes.  “Why are you smiling like that? (gasp) Did something happen to mom?” Mitchell asked.

We never got to see the finished commercial for Pritchett Closets, which was disappointing.  Who is going to say the line?  Will it even compete with the catchy commercial for Closets, Closets, Closets, Closets?  This storyline fell flat and was never truly concluded.

Where was Alex?  She was MIA the entire episode, and no one seemed to notice her absence.
