Exploring the art of storytelling.

That Troublesome Sombrero

In “Siblings and Sombreros,” Sue and Axl got into an epic fight about a sombrero.  Frankie tried to intervene, but only made things worse.  Unfortunately, the acting from all three actors (Eden Sher, Charlie McDermott, and Patricia Heaton) in these scenes was poor.  The lines felt forced and didn’t flow naturally.  The pacing of the dialogue was very scripted.  It took me out of the world of the show, and made it less entertaining.
