Exploring the art of storytelling.
At the beginning of “Two”, the producers met in the production room to discuss the remaining contestants. The filming style was very shaky in this scene. The camera was jumping from one character to another, giving it a frantic, busy feel. It reminded me of a home video and made me feel like I was there with the characters.
Just like Quinn, I got tricked by Chet. Halfway through the episode, I started to think he wasn’t as bad as I thought- maybe he wasn’t the villain. I started to fall for his charm until we saw him cheating on Quinn. I empathized greatly with Quinn in “Two,” and I’m curious to see what she does for revenge.
I wish we saw more of a build up before Rachel and Adam slept together. There’s been tension for so long, and then all of a sudden everything happened. I wanted to see more progression and development in their relationship beforehand, so that this scene felt more rewarding.
The writers are already setting us up for season two by introducing “Royal Renovation,” the future spin-off series from “Everlasting.” This guarantees that Adam will still be a central character even after he’s chosen his future wife.
