The Darkness and the Light and Plenty of Cisco (SPOILERS)

The-Flash-season-2-poster

I started watching “The Flash” because of the actor Grant Gustin.  I continued watching “The Flash” because of the character Cisco Ramon.  Cisco is dorky, loyal, and tells it like it is as evidenced in my favorite line from “The Darkness and the Light.”  Cisco said to Harry, “You know, our Dr. Wells may have been evil, but you’re just a dick.”  Cisco always makes me laugh.  “The Darkness and the Light” was a very Cisco-centric episode of “The Flash.”  In the episode, Cisco had to deal with meeting the new Dr. Wells.  He was Barry’s eyes on Barry’s date with Patty.  His secret powers were reveal.  And he eventually succeeded in asking a girl on a date.

At the end of “The Darkness and the Light,” we saw the first images of Zoom.  He is the most creepy villain we’ve seen yet.  Zoom doesn’t have a mouth.  Instead, he has a mask over his face with slits where his mouth should be.  He’s frightening.  I fear for Barry and his friends.
