Exploring the art of storytelling.

Thanksgiving VII

“Thanksgiving VII” was all-around a great episode of “The Middle.”  Each character had a substantial storyline.  The episode was hilarious, but also had it’s touching and deep moments.  Overall, I was thoroughly entertained.

It has been awhile since we’ve seen Axl open up.  But in “Thanksgiving VII” Axl once again spoke up about the stresses of college life.  Axl still doesn’t know what he wants to do or where he is going.  He’s feeling the pressure of being less confident and optimistic now than he was in high school.  I love when the writers write more emotional storylines about Axl because they prove that even the coolest of guys can have rough days.  No one has everything figured out.
