The Coincidental Critic

Exploring the art of storytelling.

Sam, Again (SPOILERS)

As the title suggests, Sam made an appearance in “Sam, Again.”  Sam was one of my favorites of Jess’ exes so I’m glad we got to catch up with him.

In “Sam, Again,” Jess interviewed for a new job at an unconventional school.  In a quick shot, we saw a few kids playing musical instruments and there was one girl who was playing a wooden flute with her nose.  This small detail was so funny.

Moving forward, I’m sure were going to get a lot more interesting storylines involving Jess’ new job.

The fact that Schmidt called Brad Pitt’s movie “Furry” instead of “Fury” and was so insistent about it was hilarious.

Winston took his friends advice and went on a date with someone other than Aly.  And it looked like the date went well.  Though, we never really saw what happened.  Did Winston enjoy the date?  Is he going to go on another one?  Have his feeling for Aly changed?
