The Coincidental Critic

Exploring the art of storytelling.

War is Coming

I am so excited that UnREAL is back.  This show is addicting.

Quinn dominated this episode.  She is one of the most fascinating characters I have ever seen on TV.  While she’s not the most likable, she’s intriguing and confident.  She’s super powerful and that radiates through her persona.  Constance Zimmer (Quinn) flawlessly brings this character to life.  It’s hard to believe that Quinn is not a real person because Zimmer fully embodies her.  She acts full-out in every scene.  I’m excited to see what the riveting Quinn has in store for us this season.

The whole cast of UnREAL has great chemistry with one another.  Rachel and Quinn’s toxic relationship is even more interesting than ever.  In contrast, a concerned Jay is filling the more sympathetic role.  The characters are all well casted.  It’s hard to believe this isn’t reality television.  In fact, it seems even more realistic than reality television.

I’m excited to see how this season plays out.  Let the games begin…
